What is a digital engagement invitation?
A digital engagement invitation is sent as a link instead of a printed card. Your guests open a sealed envelope, see the venue and time of your engagement party with a map and directions, and reply right inside the invitation.
It has the same features as the wedding invitation, with its own wording and blush-pink decoration – with rings, rose petals and ribbons.
How to create an engagement party invitation
The form above asks step by step; leave out anything you don’t need.

Engagement invitation by WhatsApp – with RSVP
Once it’s published, you have one link. In WhatsApp it shows the envelope picture, your names, the date and the venue; one tap opens the invitation. You can send it the same way by email or text message.
Replies arrive by email and collect in a list you can download as an Excel file, so you know in good time how many guests to plan for.
Engagement invitation wording: three examples
An engagement invitation can be shorter and more personal than a wedding invitation. Copy and adapt these:
- Warm: “We said yes! We’d love to celebrate with you on Saturday 14 March from 6 pm. We can’t wait to see you!”
- Traditional: “Together with our families, we warmly invite you to our engagement party.”
- Short: “Engaged! Come and celebrate with us – all the details and the RSVP are here.”
When to send engagement party invitations
An engagement party is usually smaller than a wedding, so four to six weeks’ notice is enough. Ask your guests to reply about two weeks before the party.
In Turkish families, the promise ceremony (söz) is often followed by the engagement and later the henna night and the wedding. For the wedding there’s the digital wedding invitation with the same features.
